Disclaimer: The stranger could be anyone but the story is mine :) Kim Ryeo Wook belongs to SM Ent until he's free and we got married and everything.

“Oh my… Again?” Ryeo Wook pouted as he came out from the library.
He spent the last six hours crammed inside the library, studying for his final exam so he didn’t expect to be welcomed by such a heavy rain. Actually it’s already the third day he encountered with the rain but as stubborn as he could be, he had no umbrella with him. Never.
“Hey.”
He turned his attention to his right side. The sound came from a girl. Petite covered with a black coat and much to her craziness, a pair of frog slippers. He frowned at her for he didn’t know her at all, beside it was quite weird for her to wear such slippers in the public place like a library some more the weather was kind of too cold to wear slippers at night.
Unconsciously, Ryeo Wook poked at her upper left arm which covered by a thick black coat. It was kind of dark already outside the library, he just wanted to make sure he didn’t stumble over something weird which doesn’t belong to this world.
“No need to be scared. I’m a human as well.” She giggled.
“Oh well.” Ryeo Wook was embarrassed by his own action. “Hi.”
“I worked in the library and I’ve realized that you always run to the station without any umbrella.”
Ryeo Wook smiled. “I’m just too lazy to bring it around.”
“Come on.” She said. “You can tell me about what happened to your umbrella while we walked to the station.”
“Huh?” Ryeo Wook stared at her blankly.
This girl didn’t even ask his name and he didn’t know her name either but somehow the tone of her voice assured him that everything’s going to be alright.
“Let’s go.” She whined again, this time with a transparent umbrella above her head. Under the umbrella, Ryeo Wook could see her smiley face with silky black hair framing on it perfectly.
Slowly he stepped to her side and for a brief two seconds their eyes met. “Let’s go to the coffee shop beside the station first. I’ll treat you a cup of your favorite coffee.”
“Sounds good. Anyway, how did you know that I love coffee?” that girl asked.
“I’ll tell you once you let me know why you wear slippers in such cold spring night?” Ryeo Wook asked her back.
“Maybe I’ll answer once you give me the answer about why you don’t bring your umbrella while the rest of society knows that it will be raining almost every day when it comes to spring?”
“Nice.” Ryeo Wook grinned. Before he knew, both of them walked safely to the coffee shop beside the station under her transparent umbrella.
“Caramel macchiato?” Ryeo Wook guessed.
“Perfect.” She grinned.
“Guess my favorite drink, then?” he couldn’t believe the fact that he started to flirt with her.
“Such a green-tea latte person.” She replied.
Ryeo Wook laughed at her. She’s right. He’s so green-tea latte.

<3

“So, when can I see you again?” Ryeo Wook asked. He just found out that both of them live quite far away from each other. She’s using the north line while he’s taking the west one. And somehow, he’s so eager to see her again.
“Silly, I worked in library, remember? You can always see me there.” Her cheek somehow flushed because of the hot caramel macchiato she had before.
“Oh my… sorry for forgetting about that but I guess we’ll see each other quite often.”
She nodded. “Well, that’s my train coming. See you.”
“See you.” Ryeo Wook said as she hopped into the train.
They stared at each other through the glassy window for one minute before the train moved and soon disappeared from his sight. It took one more minute for Ryeo Wook to realize that until the very last second of their encounter, they didn’t know each other’s name and it took him another one minute to realize that she left her umbrella with him.
Ryeo Wook lifted the umbrella and a folded tissue from the coffee shop flew down from it. She scribbled some words there.
You’ll need it more than me. See you :)
Ryeo Wook held the transparent umbrella close to him. He actually kind of forgets the last time he held an umbrella. But sometimes, he guessed, an old habit could change. He put the folded tissue on his hoodie’s pocket and waited for his train to come with a big smile plastered on his face.

a/n: I used my own bad habit in this story, when I lived in Melbourne I really loved to wear slippers even on winter days LOL and both Caramel Macchiato and Green Tea Latte are my favorite drinks :D
